Kate's First Laugh

I had to post twice today because Kate started laughing for the first time today and I was able to get it on video. It is so precious!

We have been so busy with activities I haven't had a chance to update!

Sam decided to body paint herself during her art project!
Swim Lessons with her friend Karstyn! She is doing great I took her to our neighborhood pool last weekend and she jumps off the side and can even swim under water from me to the ladder.

She is really growing fast. As you can see she can sit in the bumbo seat on her own. She is reaching for toys and grabbing them. She also sees herself in the mirror and smiles really big it is so cute!!!

Grandpa Bob and Grandma Kathy's visit

The Weekend of June 14th Grandpa Bob and Grandma Kathy came to visit from Florida. We had such a good time with them. We don't see them often so it was a treat. We spent time visiting and playing. Grandpa Bob bought Sam some Barbies which are now a very hot item in our house. We miss you Grandpa Bob and Grandma Kathy!!

Staying home with my girls and LOVING every minute of it!

I always said I could never be a full time stay at home mom. I stayed home part time with Sam when she was young and that that would be the most I could do. After a lot of thought and conversations we decided it would be best for our family if I stayed home to take care of the kids. There was an incident that occurred recently that couldn't have reassured us more that we made the right decision. These last two weeks of my life have been the best two weeks. Sam and I have become closer than ever and I will never get these days back when my girls grow up. Not to mention as a family we have been more stress free and so much happier to spend more time together and enjoy the little things like sitting down for dinner together. Here are a few pictures of the last two weeks the girls and I have spent together. :-)
