LiL Kate is 8 months old!

It really is crazy how time flies. Kate is growing up before our eyes. The good news is I have not missed a minute of it. 8 months old has brought many new things: 2 new bottom teeth (nightmare), some interest in crawling, babbling some words (dada, baba, etc.....), much better sleeping and napping schedule, fake coughs, copying sounds I make, bringing puffs to her mouth (but gagging and throwing up on them), and a loving bond with her big sister. She is changing every day and I'm so grateful to see it all.

The new house is much more organized and we are really feeling settled in. The girls love all of the space to play and the fact that their playroom is on the main floor. Zane has been in Asia for work all week so it has been a crazy week. Sam has stepped it up and acted like such a big girl and been such a help to me while daddy is gone.

Could Life be any more CRAZY?!?!?!

Somewhere in the mass chaos of packing and moving we managed to squeeze in plenty of Halloween festivities. We are finally in the new home and unpacked and loving it. The girls did great with the transition and have lots of room to play. They have been so much fun and we are now getting closer to Christmas.

Sam is always playing with her babies. She pretends to be different moms that she knows and names her babies after the kids. This is why you may see her "pregnant" in some of the pictures. She also pretends to be a pregnant mom. It is pretty funny. Zane and I get corrected several times a day when we call her Sam and not by her pretend name.

Kate has been a handful lately. She is cutting her two bottom teeth and has been very fussy and of course up at night.

Also during all of this my grandma passed away. I was able to spend some time with her a couple of days before she passed which I am very grateful for. I have comfort knowing she is a peace now and out of pain and misery. I have had some great memories flooding through my mind the last week thinking about my childhood and the good times my older brother and I had with her. She will definitely be missed!!!!!
