Katie Bug is approaching 1 quickly! She is 11 months today!!

The transition from 10 to 11 months has been amazing to watch. Kate learned soooo many things in such a short period of time. As you will see in the pictures she is all over the house crawling, pulling up, cruising, and climbing stairs. We now have gates up and will need to start proofing the cabinets. I will say she isn't as curious as Sam was so this has been a good thing. Another huge milestone is all of the words she has began to speak. The new words that she is always very proud to say: Light (and points at the light), bye bye (and waves), baby, and my all time favorite "pretty" or (preeee). There is a great story that goes along with this one. Sam got an Ariel mermaid princess dress for her birthday. Last weekend Sam put it on and Kate was staring at Sam in amazement and following her everywhere. She kept saying something over and over so I went over to her to find out what it was. I realized she just kept saying "pretty, pretty, pretty!" It might have been the best sister moment yet!!!

Little Bug Has her first Big Bug!!!

Our poor little Katie bug has been so sick this week. She has had a fever that has spiked to 104 and has been very difficult to break. She went to the dr for the second time this week and they found a double ear infection. She had almost made it through her first year without out a major sickness. Poor Baby she cried all day and exhausted herself. Here she is asleep on Daddy's legs.

The Birthday weekend started with a snowman and ended with a black eye!

Sam's 4th birthday weekend started off with a big snow storm. Sam and Daddy went out to use the snow blower...I wondered what was taking them so long because we have a very small driveway. When I looked out the window I saw them creating this. How cool? I immediately started looking for eyes, a scarf, and a mouth of course.

Next on the agenda was a big birthday party and gymnastics as you can see from the pictures Sam had a blast with all of her buddies. After the party we let her pick where she wanted to eat and she chose the Noodles place in hopes of the kids chop sticks. They were still out of them. At the end of dinner Sam fell out of the booth and hit her face on the edge of it. She cried for a few minutes and dusted herself off. It looks a lot worse than it feels I guess?!?!

We are so proud to have such a beautiful, talented, smart, whitty, and healthy 4 year old!!!!!
