Zane brought home the coolest video camera on Labor Day weekend that video tapes under water. It takes a great footage. I'm going to start using this so just playing around with it to figure out how it works and downloads.

My Sweet School Girl turned MONSTER!!!!!!!!!!
I walk into school Tuesday to pick the girls up and Kate's teachers pull me into a classroom to talk privately. They tell me she told one teacher that they need to watch her because she can bite and scratch. Then they tell me that when they told Kate it was time to go out to the playground she said no. The teacher tried to pick her up and Kate grabbed her around the neck and scratched her. Kate and I had a very long talk about how you have to listen to teachers like you do your parents. I'm happy to report that Kate had a fantastic day on Thursday. This had to be documented so I can read it to her when she is in highschool. HAHA!

Update on the school girls!!
I think Sam has completely adjusted to Kindergarten. She is doing great, no more problems with drop off . She is trying to set a good example for Kate. I'm really proud of her bravery. Kate's second day was a complete success!!! I was a little worried becuase she cried when I dropped her off. BUT I picked her up with artwork in hand and a report that she had gone potty on the big potty and stayed dry all day. Needless to say she earned her little bag of m&m's and was she ever proud and happy!!!

Kate's first day of School!!!
I can hardly believe Kate had her first day of "Child's day out" She was so excited wearing her backpack all over the house and she wanted to eat her lunch before we got to school. It was so cute but I could tell the anxiety had set in when we got near her classroom. I had to do the quick drop off. When I came to get her her teachers said she did great but would not let them change her diaper. She basically started to have a fit. When we were driving over to the park to wait for Sam's class to get out an hour later she kept saying something in the back seat. I couldn't understand what it was but I finally figured it out. She said " My teachers told me to take a deep breath". It was the cutest thing and might be one of the funnier things I've heard come out of her mouth. It was so sweet but so sad to see my little baby walk into a classroom for the first time. It is absolutely amazing to be going through this all again and to have so much more time to share the experience with them watching then walk in and out of class, helping in class, going on fieldtrips, helping with the reading groups. I feel so blessed to be there for them every step of the way.
