What has been going on?
It has been such a long time since I have posted on here. I have got to get back into the routine. Zane reminded me that I don't want to forget all of Brooke's milestones and the cute things she is doing. I wont be able to remember if I don't write them down. Since having Brooke I have not been left with much down time to get on the computer. She is just so much fun right now. She is starting to communicate little by little. Now if she would respond when I say no we would be doing great haha. She just went for her 15 month appointment a couple of weeks ago. She was 24lbs and 10oz and 33.5 inches. The dr said 90th percentile for weight and size of an average 2 year old with height. It was so funny the minute we walked into the exam room she started crying because she knew she was getting shots. Sam and Kate never did this. She is pretty smart to remember.
It has been amazing to watch her learn and do new things over the last 15 months. She is now walking all over the place and almost into a run. She says mama, dada, hi (to EVERYONE) bye bye, dora dora, back pack, baba she calls her sippy cup with milk baba. She loves following the girls around and just hanging out wherever they are. If they are playing outside she just looks out the window and watches them the whole time. Whenever she gets her "baba" she goes over and grabs the blanket and pillows and makes a bed on the floor and wants me to turn on dora dora. She is seriously the cutest little thing and we are loving every minute of her. I could do without some of her curiosity. Getting in all the drawers, getting in the trash, playing with outlets, climbing the outside of the stairs, shaking tables, moving furniture, getting in the pantry and trying to destroy it. playing in the toilet, the list goes on!!!
I feel like ever since school started it has been nonstop busy! Sam is starting an indoor soccer league and taking golf lessons and Kate is starting gymnastics again and wants to start cheer at Indiana Elite in the spring. With Brooke being so little still we just take it week by week but each week that passes things get just a little easier! Life is good!
