I always said I could never be a full time stay at home mom. I stayed home part time with Sam when she was young and that that would be the most I could do. After a lot of thought and conversations we decided it would be best for our family if I stayed home to take care of the kids. There was an incident that occurred recently that couldn't have reassured us more that we made the right decision. These last two weeks of my life have been the best two weeks. Sam and I have become closer than ever and I will never get these days back when my girls grow up. Not to mention as a family we have been more stress free and so much happier to spend more time together and enjoy the little things like sitting down for dinner together. Here are a few pictures of the last two weeks the girls and I have spent together. :-)

Updates and Memorial Weekend
We had such a great week and Memorial weekend. We spent lots of time at my moms visiting with my brother Bryan and his family. I have lots of pictures to share. Now with two beautiful girls and a new camera I cannot take enough pictures.

Kate was 2 months on May 17th!!!

My sweet, sweet Kate. She is SUCH a great baby. Doesn't fuss, sleeps well, and is very low maintenance. She did have two fussy days this week (Wednesday and Thursday) I think because she got her first round of shots on Monday. At her 2 month appointment she checked out great. She is in the 95% for Weight (12 lbs) and Head size and 98% for height (24 1/4 inches). She has also hit her first major milestone with smiles. I got a few half smiles in these second two pictures of her photo shoot. We are really enjoying her being a part of our family. Tuesday, May 19, 2009

Sam and Kate's new swingset
Kate doesn't know it yet but she has a swing set in her back yard that will provide hours of fun. Sam, on the other hand, was entertained all weekend. She had so much fun playing on her new set as you can see. Man do I wish there would have been swingsets like these when I was growing up. I spent hours out on my metal swing set that would tip a little when I would swing too high. Oh yes..... and who remembers the "glider?"

Kate is 1 month old and Sam's first major boo boo

Kate is a big girl she was one month on the 17th of April. Today she went to her 1 mo appointment and was 10lbs and 6 oz and 23inches. She has really grown. She was 95% for height (surprise) and 75% for weight. below is a picture of Sam at 1 month. I cannot decide if they look alike or not???
Our poor little peanut had her first big accident. She was playing at Wilson's house and got too close to the bat when he was swinging and she got hit right between the eyes. She took it like a trooper. Didn't cry much and has been keeping ice on it. It looked so much worse than it was thank goodness!!!
