This is what can happen when you dont watch your kids! My Birthday was last week...Zane and the girls got me sunglasses. We were in the atore exchanging them because they were too big. Im talking to the lady trying on a few pair. Zane was going to keep an eye on the girls but started looking on his phone. Sam asked for my phone I thought she wanted to play a game on it and this was what I found the next day. Keep on mind Kate is wearing a pair of $400+ sunglasses!!!

Golf Ball Stand

Wow were we proud of Sam! She has been asking us for a while if she could set up a golf ball stand. We always said no because we really didnt think she should be out there bothering the random golfers. When the member guest ( mens invitational) came around we finally agreed.
So she gathered the balls she had found in the yard and set up her stand selling 2 balls for $1. The pro-v's were a dollar a piece. She sat out there all day on Saturday selling away. I took them lunch and drinks. Zane set her up with a bottled water stand which she made some money on. By the end of the tournament I think she made over $75. She decided to take her earnings and buy new golf clubs. The girl really loves golf and it is definitely in her blood.

Mothers Day 2012

What a perfect day it was.  I went to the kid's "Mothers Day Teas"  at school.  Where they made the best gifts of all.  The home made ones.  Two very cool flower pots and beautiful cards.  When the Saturday before Mother's day rolled around there were a lot of secrets being exchanged between Sam and Zane. 
I was tucked into bed and was not allowed to come out of the room. 
This was a nice switch.  Me?......Getting tucked into bed.  At 6am the next morning I awoke.  The big decision should I go back to sleep or should I stay awake grab a cup of coffee and sit and enjoy the peace and quiet for an hour.  I chose the latter.  It was so peaceful.  I got my coffee, stared out the window (at a huge bird sitting on the golf course), then caught up on the news and social media online. 
When the kids awoke I didn't have to rush out of bed and fulfill all of their morning needs.  "I'm hungry, I'm thirsty, I want to watch a show...."
I got to lay in bed and wait for breakfast to be served to me.  The day continued to be perfect to me.  Well behaved kids, sunshine, visiting with my own mom, and probably most special of all is thinking of Mother's day next year when I could only be so lucky to have 3 little girls scrambling around to make my day special!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
