The Many Sounds of Brookie!

7 months! It's going too fast!

7 months its hard to believe it has been 7 months! Kate and I watch home videos of when she was a baby and Sam was just 4 years. I get sad! It is so hard to process how fast life goes. Your Babies grow up in what feels like a flash of time. The daily grind can be so exhausting emotionally and physically. I try so hard to stop and take time to observe their childhood and remember every moment. I love going back on this blog that I started when sam was 2 1/2. Brooke is one sweet baby. Eating baby food, sitting up, she loves watching her sisters. She got her first tooth last week. I think another is about to come through because she is waking up every night! Makes for a tired mom! I just cant get enough of her sweet little face! She is our little ray of sunshine in the family!!

Sam's Golden Birthday! 7 on the 7th

I love the number 7! It has always been my lucky number. Sam was born on the 7th Kate was born on the 17th and Brooklyn was born on the 27th.
When Sam turned 6 it was her magical age.  She has become so mature, so well behaved, and really understands empathy now.  We have really enjoyed the last year with her.  She had about 15 of her friends over for Pizza, cupcakes, a Magic Show, and face painting.  It seemed like the kids had a great time.
That many girls was a lot to handle.  Within the first 30 minutes one girl fell on the stairs, one got a busted lip, and one told us she was not having very much fun at the party. 
Zane said he cannot believe he has years of these parties with 3 girls. hahaha

Just another day in the life of our middle child Crazy Kate

Brooklyn was 6months on Jan 27th

 

It's so  hard to beleive 6 months as passed.  At her appointment she was still a peanut 16lbs in the 60%  Just to compare Kate was 20lbs at 6 months. They are both the same length at 28inches.  She is the sweetest little think.  She is so quiet and still just sits and takes it all in.  She is finally rolling over and very close to sitting up. She is FINALLY out of her swaddle.  She still does not like food.  I keep trying but she just doesnt want to open her mouth when I bring the spoon to her mouth. She loves the new world of being able to sit up.  My favorite of the day with little miss B is when she wakes up and is smiling and cooing.

Precious Sleeping Baby!!

Brooklyn was 5 months on Dec 27th

Brooke is such a sweet baby!  She is 5 months now.  Talking awayand grabbing at everything.  She is trying to sit up but still has to learn to balance.  She loves to watch her sisters play and laughs at them.
We all love her bright little smile first thing in the morning.

2012 "Blizzard"

So I guess we had a blizzard! I wouldn't exactly call it one, but we definitely got some snow and the kids have had a lot of fun playing in it!!

Christmas 2012

It was a success! By 8:30 last night i was one grouchy mama but it was all worth it! I cooked and entertained over 26 people. The morning started out great the kids had so much fun finding out what santa brought and Kate loves her trampoline. I think this will come in handy if we are really getting a blizzard and the kids need to get some energy. Brooklyn loved her first Christmas. She of course just took it all in. Later in the evening she was talking away then had a meltdown because she was so tired. I think I had mine shortly after!!!
